Turkish Cargo has launched a new product tailored to the aviation industry, designed to handle the transport of critical spare parts and large, sensitive aircraft components.
The new service, branded TK Aero, is divided into two tiers: TK Aero Spare and TK Aero Advanced. The offering aims to support both day-to-day spare part needs as well as more complex and technical movements, such as aircraft engines.
TK Aero Spare covers components like avionics, landing gear, and structural parts, with no restrictions on weight or size. The service includes expedited handling and priority loading to ensure operational continuity.
TK Aero Advanced, meanwhile, is intended for larger, highly sensitive shipments, including engines and helicopter parts. Each movement is supported by pre-transport engineering assessments, customized loading plans, and oversight by certified loadmasters to ensure safe and compliant handling.
Shipments will be coordinated through TKGO, Turkish Cargo’s digital booking and management platform, designed to simplify communication and provide real-time visibility. The product is also integrated with TK Urgent, the airline’s existing solution for critical shipments, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) cases.
The launch reflects a growing focus on industry-specific logistics solutions, as aerospace supply chains seek more resilient and reliable transport options. Turkish Cargo’s hub at Istanbul Airport will serve as the central gateway for the new offering.
