FMC Announces Hearing Agenda on Maritime Security Risks

February 2, 2024 The Federal Maritime Commission is set to conduct a hearing with testimonials from representatives of shipping, carrier, and port sectors to address the effects of current conditions in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden on shipping and supply chains.

This hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2024, taking place in the Surface Transportation Board Hearing Room, located at 395 E Street, SW Washington, DC, 20423. The event is open to the public, though space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, the proceedings will be broadcast live on the Commission’s YouTube channel, with no registration required for online viewing.
